Functional Beauty: a life-cycle approach to eco and ethical nutricosmetics

In this panel of the Sustainable Beauty Inside Out event, we focused on brands’ perspectives on sustainability and how they make it a big part of their business models.

We were joined by Toni Carroll, the CEO and founder of My Beauty Luv, a luxury beauty supplements brand from South Africa, introducing the philosophy of slow beauty, and by Firdevs Dursun a Marketing Manager from Florêve Paris, a nutricosmetics company that combines ancestral beauty rituals from Asia and cutting-edge french pharmaceutical technologies.

We delved into the complexities of regulations, explored the eco-conscious efforts of brands, examined the supply chain’s role including manufacturers and packaging, and concluded with an insightful session on material science with Dr. Chris DeArmit, uncovering truths about sustainable practices.

The event was hosted by Matic Batagelj, a business strategist, currently serving as a marketing advisor and strategist at Tosla Nutricosmetics as well as the co-host of Nutricosmetics 2030 Show.
